Victoria Falls Package

After breakfast on the 04^th June, you will be picked up and driven to Zanzibar Airport for your flight to either Livingstone Airport in Zambia or Victoria Falls in Zimbabwe (international flight details to be confirmed by client). Breakfast provided.

Your international agent can advise you on the best flight/s to get you from Zanzibar Airport to either Victoria Falls in Zimbabwe or Livingstone Airport in Zambia.

Assuming you will arrive at either Victoria Falls or Livingstone on 05^th June, you will be picked up and transferred to Azambezi River Lodge  where you will be booked in on B&B basis

Your guide will then meet you afterward to take you on a Sundowner Cruise down the Zambezi River.  There is no better way to end the day than to watch an African Sun slip down the horizon, while sipping drinks and enjoying light snacks. Birds, hippos and crocodiles are abounding in their natural habitat.

Your tour will begin this morning at 9 am with a visit to the “Big Tree,” an ancient Baobab tree measuring about 16 meters in girth.

Following this, you’ll embark on a guided Falls Tour on the Zimbabwe side of Victoria Falls. The majestic sight of Victoria Falls is truly awe-inspiring. The Zambezi River cascades down the black basalt rock, creating a spray of mist that forms rainbows even on sunny days. The mist provides refreshing showers as you marvel at the world’s largest sheet of falling water.

Next, you’ll proceed with a guided Falls Tour on the Zambian side. This tour offers a clear view of the full length of the falls and includes a walk on the Knife Edge Bridge, making it a worthwhile experience.

After breakfast the day will kick start with the enjoyment the Lion Walk. Taking approximately one hour this amazing experience is a great addition to Victoria Falls. No leashes or collars the pride runs freely with you through the bush. You may even be lucky enough to experience a stalk on some of the wildlife species, which abound in the vicinity.

After lunch which will be on your account, you will be taken for the helicopter ride which known as the “Flight of Angels”.  For a spectacular view of the Falls.  Live out the famous words of Dr David Livingstone, “… on sights such as these, angels must have gazed in their flight …”

For dinner, enjoy a Boma Dinner.

After an early breakfast, you will be taken on a Chobe National Park Day Trip

The Caprivi Strip, just 70kms west of Victoria Falls is a very interesting area.  Not only does the Zambezi River form the borders of 4 countries here (Zimbabwe, Botswana, Namibia and Zambia) but this is also the location of one of Africa’s finest natural game reserves – the Chobe National Park.  The added presence of the equally intriguing Chobe River (in one season the water flows downstream and in the other it flows upstream) brings a myriad of game and rare bird species to this natural wilderness.  The Park boasts the Big Five and the river teems with hippos and crocodiles which can be viewed both from boats and safari vehicles.  After an hour’s drive through the Zambezi National Park, quick border formalities are carried out into Botswana before proceeding into Botswana.

In the early afternoon, lunch will be served at the Chobe Safari Lodge by the swimming pool overlooking the Chobe River.

After lunch, it will be time to go on a river cruise.

Optional activity: Wake up early for an Elephant ride. Afterwards come back to the hotel for a shower and change of clothes before heading off to the airport for your flight back home (international flight details to be confirmed by client)
