Tarangire Treetops is located in Maasai land, just outside of Tarangire National Park, on its eastern boundary. This beautiful camp features strikingly original treehouses which are built on high platforms around Baobab and Wild Fig trees. Each treehouse has a private veranda and sweeping views of the surrounding bush. Each of the 20 beautiful rooms at this lodge has a comfortable bed/s, en-suite bathroom, and tasteful furniture.
Because it is just outside the national park, Tarangire Treetops does not have to abide by park rules of no walking safaris/night drives. For an extra fee, night drives and walking safaris with very experienced guides are possible.
The dining style is “individual table”, but room service is also available and most drinks are included in the price. There is also a swimming pool and elephant waterhole near the dining area.
There are no TVs or radios at the lodge, but there is cell phone reception. There is also Wifi, but you will need to bring your own laptop.
Finally, laundry services are included and clothes are washed by a machine, not by hand, and dried outdoors.
USD, Pounds, and Tanzanian shillings are preferred by the lodge, but Visa/Mastercard are also accepted at an additional fee (network permitting).
