Tarangire Safari Lodge is in a prime position in the middle of Tarangire National Park. It is perched on top of the escarpment ridge, which allows fantastic views over the Tarangire River and the game lured to the water during the dry season.
There is a choice of tents or bungalows. The tents each have simple colonial-style furniture and en-suite bathrooms.

There is a wonderfully relaxed atmosphere at the lodge, which boasts a large swimming pool surrounded by sun lounges, a bar and a small gift shop selling a range of locally made crafts and clothing.
Food at the lodge is simple and plentiful, with superb evening barbecues boasting every kind of meat you can imagine and endless salads. Tarangire Safari Lodge is an excellent choice for travellers on a budget who are looking for great value for money.
