Speke Bay Lodge is located on the southeast shore of Lake Victoria. It is built like a little village with 8 thatched-roof bungalows providing two rooms each. Each room at Speke Bay is equipped with mosquito nets, a custom-made bed, a lockable cupboard, and a writing table. There is an en-suite bathroom with a hot shower and western toilet. Guests can relax on their veranda and have breakfast served there while enjoying beautiful views. Each bungalow has twin beds in the loft which makes this a great lodge for families.
Speke Bay Lodge has a Bar, Restaurant, and Lounge in three separate buildings that are connected by a terrace. Your food is made to order and can either be served at your bungalow or at a table on the terrace of the lounge. The cuisine is Tanzanian with the fruits and vegetables purchased from the local markets. This accommodation is priced for mid-level traveler.
