Sopa Lodge Ngorongoro is part of a larger chain of hotels found around National Parks in East Africa. The lodge is located on the eastern side of the rim of Ngorongoro Crater and was opened in 1992. The lodge has a great access road into the crater and the Maasai boma-inspired buildings hug the rim wall in a very creative manner.
All rooms come with en-suite bathrooms and are well furnished and decorated. Guest rooms can be either single, double, twin or triple.
Meals are provided in the dining area and there is also a lovely communal relaxation area for guests’ enjoyment.
