Lake Manyara Serena Hotel has a fabulous location and views (especially from the swimming pool), as it sits on top of the famous cliffs of the Great Rift Valley walls. The design of the lodge was based on traditional ‘Maasai Boma’ architecture and the vibrantly coloured frescoes decorating the walls are there to remind us all of the colourful migratory bird patterns around Lake Manyara. There are 67 guest rooms housed in a double-story, thatched ‘Maasai Bomas’, each with en-suite facilities, private verandahs and comfortable furniture. A swimming pool, bar, and dining room are also for guest enjoyment. Traditional dancing acts are performed at night as well.
Meals at the lodge are buffet-style and are set out in the circular dining area which has both indoor and outdoor seating. A stay at Manyara Serena Hotel is sure to be a memorable one
