Bordering the Ngorongoro Conservation Area lies Marera Safari Tented Lodge. Each tent has it’s own private balcony that looks out on spectacular views beyond. Lush forests that surround Marera are filled with bird life and as night progresses draws nearer, the howling of hyena drifts through the camp. Exchange stories of the day’s discoveries and natural wonders as you relax around the campfire, before retiring for the evening.
Marera Safari Lodge is a basic tented lodge near Karatu. It is very rough and ready but reasonably priced. It has fairly average food and service.
