For entry into Tanzania
As of 12 Jan 2023, visitors to Tanzania are still encouraged to be fully vaccinated against covid when visiting Tanzania, however it is not compulsory to be fully vaccinated (see attached government notice).
We recommend that you bring a hard copy of your Covid Vaccination QR Certificate (if you have one), to prove you are fully vaccinated if asked. A sample of such a certificate is here

For entry into Uganda, As of 27 April 2022, travellers no longer need to show a negative PCR covid test on arrival into Uganda, IF they are fully vaccinated (and can present proof of vaccination with a Covid Vaccination QR certificate).
For entry into Rwanda, As of this update on 1 September 2022, travelers no longer need to show a negative PCR covid test on arrival into Uganda, IF they are fully vaccinated (and can present proof of vaccination with a Covid Vaccination QR certificate). However it is compulsory to get a covid test in order to see the gorillas in Rwanda. Normally what happens, is when clients arrive into Kigale, their driver guide will meet them at the airport as they come out of arrivals and take them to a covid test centre for a covid test (costs ~$50USD). The driver checks online to get the results (within 3-6 hours) but the results can also be sent to a phone number or email address if desired. The driver guide escorts clients through the process and will ensure that the results are received in time for the trek. Driver guides are used to doing this process regularly as they receive gorilla trekking clients from the airport.
