‘Camping Plus’ is a special program where we organise a separate 4WD to carry the camping equipment, food and cooking equipment. You are then able to wake up in your tent each morning and after breakfast, head off with your driver guide to start game viewing straight away, instead of having to help and wait for the camp to be packed up and loaded into the 4WD with you.
Then in the evening after the game drives have finished and you return to the campsite, you will find the camp already set up and the water already on.
Having a separate camping car allows the cook to set up and pull down the camp as well as find water around camps where there is none (due to elephants breaking the water pipes or because there has been no rain).
Choosing the ‘Camping Plus’ option maximises the time you have in the parks without worrying about setting up and pulling down the camps.
