Kisima Ngeda

KISIMA NGENDA

Kisima Ngeda Tented Camp is situated on the shores of Lake Eyasi at an altitude of 1040m. The camp is part of a 200 acre family-owned farm with a natural spring nearby that produces over four million litres of water a day and flows into the lake.

For guests who are wanting to visit the Datoga or Hadzabe bushmen, one of the last click-speaking hunter gatherer tribes in this area, we recommend staying at this beautiful little camp. It is about 2 hour drive from the Ngorongoro Crater and the road can be bumpy…but worth it!

The camp consists of 7 guest tents built on permanent platforms and a large dining tent. All the tents and their en-suite bathrooms are thatched with traditional palm fronds and stems, giving the overall camp a rustic appearance. The water at the camp is supplied by the natural spring and heated by locally-made boilers.

Kisima Ngeda Tented Camp has a beautiful swimming oasis with its water fed by the natural spring. There are also two huts equipped with beach beds and lounge chairs for ultimate relaxation after a day of game viewing, birdwatching or sightseeing.
