Arusha Day Tours

1 Day Itinerary

We are more than happy to organize a day excursion for clients who are on a time crunch. The most popular day trips are to Arusha, Lake Manyara & Tarangire National Parks. Clients are picked up by our safari car between 7 and 8am (depending on the destination). Lunchboxes are packed ahead of time, so that the clients can enjoy a meal while at the park. The tour would start around 8 or 9am after all entry formalities, and conclude around 5pm, at which time the guests would be taken back to our office for transfer or directly to their hotel.

7 days Tanzania Safari

Zebra safari icon Arusha National Park

Arusha National Park offers breathtaking scenery in northern Tanzania and is just outside our backdoor. The park is small but varied with spectacular landscapes in three distinct areas. In the west, the Meru Crater funnels the Jekukumia River with the peak of Mt Meru lying on its rim. Ngurdoto Crater in the southeast is grassland. The Momella Lakes in the northeast have varying colors and are known for their wading birds. Click this link more information about Arusha National Park

Zebra safari icon Lake Manyara National Park

Lake Manyara is a beautiful little park which is famous for its tree-climbing lions, elephants and large troops of baboons. The park is home to an amazing variety of birds and animals considering its small size. A short visit to this serene park will greatly diversify your safari experience as the lush green jungle habitat is of stark contrast to the other parks you will visit during your safari. Zebra safari icon Tarangire National Park

Tarangire National Park is almost 3000 sq km in size and is probably best known for its huge numbers of elephants and baobab trees. The name of the park comes from the Tarangire River which crosses through the park. Tarangire is especially spectacular during the dry season (June – November) as wildlife concentrations rival that of the Serengeti (since enormous populations of elephants and other animals are drawn to the Tarangire River as their only source of water). With its varied habitats and permanent water in the Tarangire River, the park is home to over 2000 elephants and 500 bird species. Click this link for more information about Tarangire National Park

Zebra safari icon The School of St Jude

Clients may also visit The School of St Jude, which was founded by Richard & Gemma Sisia in 2002. The School of St Jude is a non-profit school providing free, quality education to over 1500 students. Founded in 2002, it has grown quickly thanks to its generous international sponsors, and is now made up of 3 campuses, 2 boarding facilities as well as providing employment to over 350 local staff. A typical visit would start in the morning, when the guests are given a campus tour by the school’s Visitor Team, then they will enjoy lunch with some students, and even go for a home visit after school to meet the family of their sponsored student (or potential sponsored student). The day would conclude after the home visit around 5pm. Click this link for more information about The School of St Jude.
